Subject: A must-have training
I just attended what I would consider to be among the best training I’ve had in my 26yrs of law enforcement and 10yrs as a manager.
It is even more important IMHO for those of you who are managing districts as DS I and II. I have suggested that this be required training for DS’s moving forward.
It’s not your typical cop training, but rather provides science and research that helps explain the known physical, physiological, and emotional effects before, during, and after any serious incident or traumatic event.
Again, IMHO, you cannot make an accurate judgment, complete an investigation, or make a determination in such instances without it.
