“The training was very informative. It gave me a better understanding of how and why we as human beings react during high-stress situations. The main focus was on officer-involved shootings(OIS). It has also prepared me in case I have the unfortunate involvement in an OIS. During the training, I realized how unprepared our department is if we were to have an OIS. I believe we need to educate our officers more on what they will be subjected to if they are in an OIS.”
