As someone who has investigated deputy involved shootings, worked internal affairs, and will likely take over some use of force review responsibility, I found the areas on reaction time, as well as the amount of info processed by the brain, very interesting. My greatest focus will be to get ore employees trained in this subject matter.
The last exercise was helpful in allowing a group of students to assess a situation and utilize the book to ‘defend’ our employee. I enjoyed this practical exercise.
